Ind. Code § 25-20-1-2 – Necessity of certificate of registration

(a) This section does not apply to:
1. (1) a person who is an audiologist licensed under IC 25-35.6 ; or
2. (2) the sale of hearing aid batteries or cords.
(b) It is unlawful for a person to fit or dispense hearing aids in Indiana unless the person holds:
1. (1) a valid hearing aid dealer certificate of registration; or
2. (2) a temporary hearing aid dealer certificate of registration;
  issued by the board.
