- (a) At least thirty (30) days before an appointment to the board, the governor shall receive a list of not more than three (3) nominations for the appointment from a joint committee of the survey and representatives of professional organizations representing professional geologists in Indiana.
- (b) Members appointed to the board shall be selected from the list submitted to the governor by the joint committee under subsection (a).
