Ind. Code § 25-15-9-2 – Members; chairman

(a) The board consists of five (5) members as follows:
1. (1) Four (4) members appointed by the governor.
2. (2) Subject to IC 25-1-6.5-3 , one (1) member who must:
  1. (A) be a resident of Indiana; and
  2. (B) not be associated with the practice of funeral service or cemetery operation other than as a consumer.
(b) Members are appointed under IC 25-1-6.5 .
(c) A member of the board may be removed under IC 25-1-6.5-4 .
(d) The board shall elect a chairman from the board's own membership every two (2) years to serve a term of two (2) years. The chairman shall be elected alternately from those board members appointed under sections 3 and 4 of this chapter.
