Whenever a division fire investigator retires after at least twenty (20) years of service, the division shall, in recognition of the investigator's service to the division, do the following:

1. (1) Allow the investigator to retain the service weapon issued to the investigator by the division.
2. (2) Issue the investigator a badge that indicates the investigator is a retired division fire investigator.

3. (3) Issue the investigator an identification card that contains the following information:

   1. (A) The name of the division.
   2. (B) The name of the investigator.
   3. (C) The investigator's position title before the investigator's retirement.
   4. (D) A statement that the investigator is retired.
   5. (E) A statement that the investigator is authorized to retain the service weapon issued to the investigator by the division.
