Ind. Code § 21-46-3-2

Purpose

As added by P.L.2-2007, SEC.287.

The purpose of the animal disease diagnostic laboratory is to:

  1. (1) aid Indiana residents in the diagnosis of diseases of domestic animals by developing and applying accepted laboratory techniques and methods of diagnosis with a primary emphasis on cases submitted after a field diagnosis of a clinically apparent disease; and
  2. (2) add to the wealth of Indiana by aiding the Indiana state board of animal health in the prevention, control, and eradication of diseases of domestic animals.
