For purposes of IC 21-14-9 , "armed forces of the United States" means the following:

1. (1) The United States Air Force.
2. (2) The United States Army.
3. (3) The United States Coast Guard.
4. (4) The United States Marine Corps.
5. (5) The United States Navy.
6. (6) The United States Space Force.
