- (a) A student who has applied for the stipend under section 1 of this chapter and has been approved by the commission may request payment of the stipend after demonstrating that the student will engage in student teaching during the upcoming academic term.
- (b) The stipend may not exceed four thousand dollars ($4,000).
- (c) The commission shall pay the stipend directly to the student.
