1. (a) Each governing body administering approved vocational schools or departments for industrial, agricultural, or home economics education shall appoint an advisory committee composed of members representing local trades, industries, and occupations.

2. (b) The advisory committee shall advise the governing body and other school officials having the management and supervision of the schools or departments described in subsection (a).
