Ind. Code § 20-33-3-22

Employment of children at least 14 years of age and less than 16 years of age

As added by P.L.1-2005, SEC.17. Amended by P.L.191-2018, SEC.17.

The following apply only to a child who is at least fourteen (14) years of age and less than sixteen (16) years of age:

  1. (1) The child may not work before 7 a.m. or after 7 p.m. on a day that precedes a school day or after 10 p.m. on a day that does not precede a school day.
  2. (2) The child may not work:

    1. (A) more than three (3) hours on a school day other than a Friday;
    2. (B) more than eighteen (18) hours in a school week;
    3. (C) more than eight (8) hours on a nonschool day; or
    4. (D) more than forty (40) hours in a nonschool week.
