1. (a) This section applies to any:

   1. (1) career clusters approved or amended by the state board under this chapter after June 30, 2022; or
   2. (2) course sequences created or amended by the governor's workforce cabinet under this chapter after June 30, 2022.

2. (b) The governor's workforce cabinet shall do the following:

   1. (1) Collect data each year regarding approved career clusters and course sequences to inform decision making around approving, creating, and amending current and future career clusters and course sequence requirements.
   2. (2) Prepare and submit, not later than November 1 of each year, a report to the legislative council in an electronic format under IC 5-14-6 regarding the data collected under subdivision (1).
