1. (a) The department shall, with approval of the state board, assign a school corporation identification number for each organizer granted a charter.
2. (b) If an organizer assigned a school corporation identification number under subsection (a) consists of more than one (1) charter school, the department, with approval of the state board, shall assign each charter school a separate school identification number.
3. (c) If an organizer assigned a school corporation identification number under subsection (b) consists of more than one (1) campus, the department shall assign each campus a separate school identification number.
