Ind. Code § 20-23-7-1

Purpose

As added by P.L.1-2005, SEC.7.

It is the purpose of this chapter to provide for the organization of public schools in Indiana to:

  1. (1) promote the best interests of the students of Indiana;
  2. (2) provide for the organization of additional forms of local school government;
  3. (3) preserve and ensure an economical and efficient school system in accordance with the desires of the people in local communities; and
  4. (4) improve the education of the students of Indiana as guaranteed by the laws and Constitution of the State of Indiana.
