Ind. Code § 2-7-1-7.2

"Legislative body"

As added by P.L.58-2010, SEC.9.

"Legislative body" refers to any of the following:

  1. (1) The general assembly.
  2. (2) The house of representatives.
  3. (3) The senate.
  4. (4) A standing or other committee established by the rules of the house of representatives or the senate.
  5. (5) A committee established by statute or by the legislative council. An individual who:

    1. (A) is a member of a committee described in this subdivision; and
    2. (B) is not a member of the general assembly;

      is not considered to be a member of a legislative body for purposes of this article.

  6. (6) A caucus of the house of representatives or the senate.
