1. (a) As used in this chapter, "blood" means any of the following:

   1. (1) Human blood.
   2. (2) Human blood components.
   3. (3) Human blood derivatives.
2. (b) The term does not include human cells, tissues, or cellular or tissue-based products (HCT/Ps).
