Ind. Code § 16-31-5-2

Restrictions on provision of ambulance services

A city, town, or county may not adopt an ordinance that restricts a person from providing ambulance services in the city, town, township, or county if:

  1. (1) the person is authorized to provide ambulance services in any part of another county; and
  2. (2) the person has been requested to provide ambulance services:

    1. (A) to the county in which the person is authorized to provide ambulance services, and those services will originate in another county; or
    2. (B) from the county in which the person is authorized to provide ambulance services, and those services will terminate in another county.
