Liability for damages to district works

As added by P.L.1-1995, SEC.26.
  1. (a) A person is liable for damages done to works of a district by:

    1. (1) the person;
    2. (2) agents of the person;
    3. (3) employees of the person; or
    4. (4) livestock owned by the person.
  2. (b) A person shall not damage the works, improvements, or property of a district. A person who violates this subsection is liable for all damages and costs.
  3. (c) The board may repair damages at the expense of the person committing the damage.
