Ind. Code § 14-26-8-7
(a) Within ten (10) days after the filing of a petition, the clerk shall docket the petition as a cause of action pending in the circuit or superior court. The clerk shall cause notice to be given at least thirty (30) days before the date set for the hearing as follows:
(1) By publication one (1) time each week for two (2) consecutive weeks:
(A) with each publication:
(B) with the first publication of notice in a newspaper or newspapers described in clause (A) and the second publication of notice:
(3) By sending written notice to the following:
(b) The notice must do the following:
(2) Fix a day for the hearing on the petition.
