Effective 1-1-2020.

1. (1) Fifty percent (50%) of the fund shall be used to pay costs incurred by the department in implementing the lake and river enhancement projects.

2. (2) Fifty percent (50%) of the fund shall be used by the department to pay for lake or river (as defined in IC 14-32-7-12 ) projects, including, but not limited to, projects to:

   1. (A) remove sediment;
   2. (B) control exotic or invasive plants or animals; or

   3. (C) remove logjams or obstructions.

      For purposes of this subdivision, the fund may not be used for projects relating to a ditch or manmade channel.
