1. (a) A solid waste hauler that collects solid waste in Indiana and takes the solid waste to a transfer station or final disposal facility outside Indiana shall maintain records for at least one

   1. (1) year that identify, for each shipment, the county and state of origin of the largest part of the solid waste by volume.

2. (b) Each solid waste hauler who is required to maintain records under subsection (a) shall file quarterly reports with the department that:

   1. (1) state the location of each out-of-state transfer station or final disposal facility; and

   2. (2) identify the volume of solid waste from each county and state taken to the transfer station or final disposal facility during the reporting period.
