- (a) An appointed member of the board serves a term of four (4) years. A member may not serve more than two (2) consecutive terms.
- (b) The term of each member of the board continues until a successor is appointed.
- (c) If a vacancy occurs in the appointed membership of the board, the governor shall appoint an individual to fill the unexpired term of the vacating member. A member appointed to fill a vacancy must meet the same qualifications specified under section 4 of this chapter for the vacating member.
- (d) The governor may remove an appointed member of the board at any time with or without cause.
