As used in this chapter, "armed forces of the United States" means the:

1. (1) United States Army;
2. (2) United States Navy;
3. (3) United States Air Force;
4. (4) United States Space Force;
5. (5) United States Coast Guard; and
6. (6) United States Marine Corps.
