1. a) The Department incorporates by reference 9 CFR 311 (2004; 69 FR 1862, effective January 12, 2004).
2. b) For the purpose of administering the incorporated language, the laboratories referred to shall mean any approved laboratory as defined in 8 Ill. Adm. Code 20.1. "Properly prepared and packaged" shall mean that the specimen shall be wrapped so as to prevent adulteration of the specimen and any leakage from the package.
3. c) An approved freezing facility is an establishment licensed under the Illinois Refrigerated Warehouses Act [240 ILCS 35].
