For purposes of this subchapter, unless the context otherwise requires:

1. 1. “Asian and Pacific Islander” means an individual from any of the countries of Asia or islands of the Pacific.
2. 2. “Commission” means the commission of Asian and Pacific Islander affairs.
3. 3. “Office” means the office of Asian and Pacific Islander affairs of the department.
