1. 1. A person shall not use any recognized title, abbreviation, or sign to indicate that such person is a registered veterinary technician unless that person is an individual who has been issued a certificate of registration pursuant to section 169.34.
2. 2. A person who violates subsection 1 commits a simple misdemeanor.
