The director shall coordinate the department’s conduct of various licensing and regulatory functions of the state under the administrative authority of the department including but not limited to all of the following:

1. 1. Licensing and regulation of certain fire control and building code-related activities and professions.
2. 2. Licensing and regulation of certain health-related professions.
3. 3. Licensing and regulation of certain business and commerce-related professions.
