Rule 513-14-1-.17. Spousal Benefits at Death of Vested Active or Paid-up Member

Upon the death of an Active member with 10 or more years of service credit or of a Paid-up member, the spouse of such member shall be entitled to receive a monthly pension as if the member had been retired under Option 2. The beginning date shall be the day following the date of the death of the member. Cite as Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R. 513-14-1-.17
