Rule 511-2-4-.01. Definitions
Unless a different meaning is required by the context, the following terms as used in these Rules shall have the meaning hereinafter respectively ascribed to same:
- (a) "Department" means the Georgia Department of Public Health.
- (b) "Sexually Transmitted Disease" is any case of chlamydia, syphilis, gonorrhea or chancroid.
- (c) "Case of Sexually Transmitted Disease" is any person diagnosed as having a sexually transmitted disease.
- (d) "Test" is any laboratory procedure conducted for the purpose of aiding in the discovery or diagnosis of a sexually transmitted disease.
- (e) "Reactive or Positive Test" means any laboratory result suggesting the presence of sexually transmitted disease.
