Rule 509-4-.03. Confusing Names; Similar Names

1. (1) No private detective or security agency will be approved for licensure if the Board determines that the agency's name is likely to create the impression that the agency is a public law enforcement agency or government entity.
2. (2) No private detective or security agency will be approved for licensure if the agency's name includes the word "police", "enforcement", or "federal".
3. (3) Licensed private detective and security companies shall operate only under the name in which the license was issued.
