Rule 480-22-.09. Partial Filling of Schedule III, IV, and V (C-III, IV, V) Controlled Substance Prescription Drug Ord

The partial filling of a C-III, IV, or V prescription drug order is permissible, subject to the following requirements:

1. (a) Each partial filling is recorded in the same manner as a refill;
2. (b) The total quantity dispensed in all partial fillings does not exceed the total quantity prescribed; and
3. (c) No dispensing occurs six (6) months after the date on which the prescription drug order was issued.
