Crime Scene Technician Certification Requirements

Each person applying for Crime Scene Technician Certification must:

  1. (1) Complete the required core courses as prescribed by the Council;
  2. (2) Have one (1) year experience as a full-time Crime Scene technician; and
  3. (3) Complete a forty (40) hour internship with a certified Crime Scene technician.
