Rule 205-1-2-.06. Minimum Equipment Required for Apparatus Other Than Fire Department Pumper and ARFF Apparatus

1. (1) A fire station shall possess a compliant fire department apparatus in order to receive a Certificate of Compliance. This section allows for compliance for stations that are granted exemption for pumper or ARFF apparatus by the Executive Director based on a list of equipment as approved by the Council. It establishes minimum equipment for the apparatus in those stations with one of the following types of apparatus:

   1. (a) Aerial *
   2. (b) Fire Boat*
   3. (c) Mobile Water Supply (Tanker/Tender)*
   4. (d) Rescue/Squad*
   5. (e) Service*
   6. (f) Trench Rescue*

   7. (g) Other apparatus as approved by GFSTC*

(1) Each apparatus type listed in 205-1-2-.05(1) must be equipped with the equipment, appliances, adapters, and accessories necessary to perform and carry out the duties and responsibilities of a fire department set forth in O.C.G.A. § 25-3-1 and § 25-3-2 as approved by the Georgia Firefighter Standards and Training Council.
