Rule 120-2-113-.03. Definitions

(1) "Health insurer" or "insurer" means an accident and sickness insurer, care management organization, healthcare corporation, health maintenance organization provider sponsored healthcare corporation, or any similar entity regulated by the Commissioner. (2) "Program" means a program that allows for the selective application of reductions in prior authorization requirements based on the stratification of healthcare providers' performance and adherence to evidence-based medicine. (3) All other terms as defined in Chapter 46 of Title 33 which are used in this Regulation shall have the same meaning as defined in that Chapter. Cite as Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R. 120-2-113-.03
