¹97.056 Registration by mail; persons required to vote in person.--

1. (1) Any registered voter who has registered by mail and has not previously voted in the county in which he or she is registered must vote:

   1. (a) In person at the precinct in which he or she is registered to vote; or
   2. (b) In person at the office of the supervisor of elections, as provided in s. 101.657.

2. (2) The provisions of this section do not apply to a person who is entitled to vote by absentee ballot under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act, the Voting Accessibility for the Elderly and Handicapped Act, or any other federal law, or an elector who is absent from the county and does not plan to return before the day of the election.
