1. (1) The sheriff shall keep an execution docket, which shall contain a list of all executions, orders and decrees directed to the sheriff, in relation to the collection of moneys, and a statement of all moneys credited on such orders, executions and decrees, and when and to whom and by whom paid.
2. (2) Said docket shall be subject to the inspection of all parties interested.
3. (3) The sheriff's failure to keep said docket, or to allow inspection of the same, shall be considered a contempt of court and subject him or her to a fine not exceeding $100, at the discretion of the court.
