1. (1) Criminal justice agencies disseminating criminal justice information derived from a Department of Law Enforcement criminal justice information system shall maintain a record of dissemination in accordance with rules promulgated by the Department of Law Enforcement.
2. (2) The Division of Criminal Justice Information Systems shall arrange for any audits of state and local criminal justice agencies necessary to assure compliance with federal laws and regulations, this chapter, and rules of the Department of Law Enforcement pertaining to the establishment, operation, security, and maintenance of criminal justice information systems.
