1. (1) A lease, although subject to this chapter, is also subject to any applicable:

   1. (a) Statute of the United States;
   2. (b) Certificate-of-title statute of this state: chapter 319 or chapter 328;
   3. (c) Certificate-of-title statute of another jurisdiction (s. 680.1051); or
   4. (d) Consumer protection statute of this state.
2. (2) In case of conflict between the provisions of this chapter, other than ss. 680.1051, 680.304(3), and 680.305(3), and any statute referred to in subsection (1), the provisions of that statute control.
3. (3) Failure to comply with any applicable statute has only the effect specified therein.
