Before entering upon the duties of his or her office, each director of the department shall take and subscribe to the same oath of office as required of state officers by s. 5, Art. II of the Florida Constitution, and give bond with good security to be approved by the Governor; in the sum of $10,000, conditioned upon the faithful discharge of the duties of his or her office. Such oath shall be filed with the Department of State.
