¹553.22 District enforcement departments.--

Each enforcement district created pursuant to s. 553.21 by appropriate action of the governing body or bodies thereof shall:

1. (1) Establish and operate an enforcement department.
2. (2) Employ an official or inspector who shall be the department's administrative officer.

3. (3) Employ such inspectors and other personnel as may be necessary to administer and enforce the provisions of this code. Inspectors shall have at least 10 years' previous background and experience in the electrical trade. Personnel employed pursuant to this subsection may be on a fee, part-time, contractual, or other basis acceptable to the enforcement authorities.
