Either the employer or the employee is responsible for paying the costs of screening. Payment shall be submitted to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement with the request for screening. When a search of the central abuse hotline is required, payment shall be submitted by separate check to the Department of Children and Family Services with the request for screening.
