1. (1) Employees of a public health trust created pursuant to this part shall be considered to come within the terms of chapter 122 for purposes of inclusion in the State and County Officers and Employees' Retirement System and within the terms of chapter 121, for purposes of inclusion in the Florida Retirement System.
2. (2) A public health trust shall be considered an agency of the state with regard to ¹s. 732.29, relating to filing of caveats.

3. (3) Nothing contained in this part shall be deemed to provide an exclusive method by which counties may operate, govern, and maintain health care facilities, and counties shall be authorized to utilize any other method or means authorized by law for this purpose. Nothing contained herein shall affect the continued validity and operation of hospital districts created by special acts.
