1. (1) The following shall be in compliance with the Florida Fire Prevention Code, 2010 Edition, as adopted in rule 69A-3.012, F.A.C., “Standards of the National Fire Protection Association and Other Standards Adopted,” and those standards adopted in rule 61C-5.001, F.A.C., “Safety Standards,” (8-21-12):

   1. (a) Enclosures of elevator hoistways, machine rooms, and machine spaces;
   2. (b) Automatic smoke detectors and heat detectors; and,
   3. (c) Automatic sprinklers in hydraulic and non-hydraulic elevators.
2. (2) Rule 61C-5.001, F.A.C., “Safety Standards,”(8-21-12), may be obtained by writing to the Department of Financial Services, Division of State Fire Marshal, Bureau of Fire Prevention, 200 East Gaines Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-0342.
