The board accepts the examination results of the following national standards organization in lieu of administering a state examination:

1. (1) Orthotist, prosthetist, prosthetist/orthotist – the American Board for certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics (ABC) examination in place at the time of application or, if currently ABC certified, the ABC examination in place at the time of certification.
2. (2) Pedorthist – the Board of Certification in Pedorthics or ABC pedorthic examination.
