1. (1) Health education programs shall pertain to health issues of adolescents. These topics shall include, at a minimum, the following, and shall be completed prior to or in conjunction with the HRH or review of the HRH:

   1. (a) Seat belt usage;
   2. (b) Alcohol and drug related problems;
   3. (c) HIV/AIDS;
   4. (d) Sexually Transmitted Disease/Infections;
   5. (e) Tobacco products, including smoking cessation;
   6. (f) Dental hygiene and dental care;
   7. (g) Basic Personal Hygiene;
   8. (h) Review of immunizations;
   9. (i) Infection control;
   10. (j) Prevention of sexual and other physical violence;
   11. (k) Nutrition;
   12. (l) Physical fitness;
   13. (m) Breast and testicular self-examinations;
   14. (n) Parenting skills;
   15. (o) Prenatal, postpartum and parenting education as applicable.
2. (2) Documentation of health education shall be made on the Health Education Record (HS 013) or the Chronological Progress Notes.
