Recycling equipment that appears on the list below is considered to be recycling equipment and shall be certified by the Department as recycling equipment if other requirements for equipment eligibility, pursuant to Rule 62-704.420, F.A.C., are satisfied.

1. (1) Preparation equipment which is used for reducing the size of recyclable materials for further processing:

   1. (a) Baling presses and tying equipment;
   2. (b) Crushers, flatteners and densifiers;
   3. (c) Cutters and shears;
   4. (d) Granulators;
   5. (e) Roll splitters, or
   6. (f) Shredders, flail mills, and hammer mills.

2. (2) Separation equipment or machinery that is used for removing contaminants from recyclable materials:

   1. (a) Air classifiers;
   2. (b) Trommels and screens;
   3. (c) Heavy media separators;
   4. (d) Magnetic separators, or
   5. (e) Glass beneficiation equipment.

3. (3) Materials handling equipment that is exclusively used to move recyclable materials to or from other recycling equipment within the recycling facility or plant site:

   1. (a) Cranes equipped with electromagnets or grapples;
   2. (b) Conveyor belts;
   3. (c) Skid steer loaders, or
   4. (d) Front end loaders.

4. (4) Materials handling equipment that is used exclusively to transfer or transport recyclable materials from the point of generation to the recycling facility:

   1. (a) Trucks delivered with specially designed recycling bodies;
   2. (b) Carts specially designed to store recyclables prior to transfer to a recyclable collection vehicle; and,
   3. (c) Bins specially designed to store recyclables prior to transfer to a recyclable collection vehicle.
