  1. (a) Unless an individual has been duly licensed under this chapter, the individual may not do any of the following:

    1. (1) Engage in the practice of psychology.
    2. (2) Represent to the public in this State that the individual is qualified to engage in the practice of psychology.
    3. (3) Use in connection with that individual’s name, or otherwise assume or use, any title or description conveying or tending to convey the impression that the individual is qualified to engage in the practice of psychology.
  2. (b) If an individual’s license to practice as a psychologist or a licensed psychology associate in this State has expired or has been suspended or revoked, it is unlawful for the individual to engage in the practice of psychology in this State.
  3. (c) An individual may not act as a doctoral-level psychological assistant or a master’s-level psychological assistant or represent that the individual is a doctoral-level psychological assistant or a master’s-level psychological assistant, unless the individual has been duly registered under this chapter.
