2011 CONTRACTING FOR SERVICES

2011.1 The provisions of §§ 1900 and 1901 of Title 27 DCMR shall apply to all contracts for the procurement of services, except as provided otherwise in this section.

2011.2 The provisions of § 1900.2 shall not apply to procurement by the Agency. Requirements for competition and competitive procedures shall be governed by the provisions of this title.

2011.3 The provisions of § 1901.1 shall not apply to procurement by the Agency. The determination whether to use expert and consultant services shall be based on the best interests of the Agency.

2011.4 In accordance with the provisions of D.C. Code §1-1110(4) (1992 Repl. Vol.), the Executive Director may waive the requirements for formal advertising under this title when the services under a contract are required to be performed by the contractor in person and are of a professional nature.
