3303 NOTIFICATION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST

3303.1 When a public official has a conflict or potential conflict of interest, that public official shall prepare a written statement describing the following:

1. (a) The matter requiring action or decision; and
2. (b) The nature of the potential conflict of interest with respect to such action or decision.

3303.2 The public official shall deliver a copy of the statement to the following:

1. (a) The Board of Elections and Ethics, in care of its General Counsel;
2. (b) The Director of the Office of Campaign Finance; and
3. (c) The immediate superior or superior-designate, if any, of the public official.

3303.3 The immediate superior or superior-designate for each public official enumerated in this subsection shall include one (1) of the following:

1. (a) Member of the Council - Chairman of the Council;
2. (b) Chairman of the Council – Chairperson pro tempore or Vice-Chairperson of the council;
3. (c) Member of the Board of Education - President of the Board of Education;
4. (d) President of the Board of Education – Vice-President of the Board of Education;
5. (e) Member of Advisory Neighborhood Commission, Board or Commissions – Chairperson or President;
6. (f) Chairperson of Advisory Neighborhood Commission, Board, or Commission – Chairperson pro tempore or Vice-President;
7. (g) Member of Board or Commissions – Chairperson or President of Board or Commission; and
8. (h) Immediate staff employee of the Council and Board of Education – respective Chairperson.
