D.C. Mun. Regs. tit. 3, § 200
200.1 The purpose of this chapter is to establish a standard of conduct for members and employees of the District of Columbia Board of Elections and Ethics for their official activities in order to maintain public confidence in the integrity of those persons responsible for the administration of the election laws and the conduct of the electoral process in the District of Columbia.
200.2 The provision of this chapter shall solely govern the political and ethical conduct of the members and employees of the District of Columbia Board of Elections and Ethics and are not intended to be exclusive of rules governing the ethical conduct of all District of Columbia Government employees.
200.3 An additional purpose of the provisions of this chapter is to encourage members and employees of the District of Columbia Board of Elections and Ethics to vote and to be good citizens.
200.4 Election day workers shall be governed by the provisions of this chapter while employed by the Board of Election and Ethics.
