7505.1 Emergency rental assistance shall be available for the categories of assistance specified in sections 7506, 7507 and 7508.

7505.2 The Provider shall make payment of the assistance benefit directly to the Vendor.

7505.3 The emergency rental assistance shall be in the form of a non-cash direct payment to the Vendor, except that a Provider may pay the Vendor in cash when required by a controlling government authority, including a court or federal marshals, or by the Vendor.

7505.4 Payment of emergency rental assistance funds is subject to verification by the Provider. The Vendor must provide sufficient documentation to the Provider to confirm the housing agreement with the applicant, the balance or prospective amount of any housing costs associated with the applicant, and any financial information needed to complete the transaction, such as the Vendor's Form W-9.
