6023.1 A resource parent shall maintain the confidentiality of all information about a foster child and the foster child's family. A resource parent may transmit information about a foster child or the foster child's family only in accordance with District law:

1. (a) To CFSA and its representatives;
2. (b) To the agency and its representatives;
3. (c) The foster child's parent pursuant to § 6002.2(c);
4. (d) To the foster child's attorney;
5. (e) To the foster child's guardian ad litem;
6. (f) To the parent's attorney;
7. (g) As authorized by CFSA or the agency in order to provide services to the foster child and in accordance with § 6023;
8. (h) As necessary for the provision of medical, mental health, or educational services; and
9. (i) In accordance with a court order.

6023.2 A resource parent may not disclose confidential information about a foster child or the foster child's family on social media.
